I'm gonna try something a little different. I'm just going to talk about things and if you want to talk about things feel free to reach out. Especially if you are poly.
I actually believe that people too often deny themselves pleasure. Most of the time it is no fault of their own, although many do it on purpose for some proof of discipline or misguided attempt to please others, including those in religious circles. I actually find this quite sad because I feel like for the bulk of the population, pleasurable experiences are actually quite rare in this world that seems to be burning down around us. This is one reason I really like Gen Z because many of them seem to have figured this out.
I am an existentialist. And you might as well call me a hedonist. As an existentialist it is up to me to define who I am. As such, I am agender because I don't want society's framework on that. I choose philosophy over religion because if constraints are going to be put on me by another person I'd rather it be in the bedroom 😏 I am poly because my emotions are large, plentiful and fluid - I define who I love and I again dont need the constraints.
Before this gets too lengthy I will say that there are a few concepts that I live by, that I use to define myself. For one, it takes more effort to be an asshole than a decent, empathetic human. Two, I live to make memories. This is how I lived in my 20s and my stories tend to be something people enjoy. And three, per Charles Dickens, "No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another."
If you made it this far, I'm looking for friends or more depending on location and the vibe.
You know what to do if any of this clicks for you 😁
