I’m looking for a partner, someone for conversation during the day, some laughs, flirting, and more. Someone local would be wonderful but I have had amazing online relationships with long-distance partners in the past so distance is not a huge factor. I value an emotional connection just as much as a physical one.
In terms of relationship dynamics, I have practiced parallel poly with my nesting partner for several years now. I also have one local solo poly partner I get together with once or twice a month for date nights.
Physically, I’m 6’, white, HWP, I’m very active and rock a Dad Bod along with all the humor that goes along with it, to the chagrin of my kids. I love making people laugh, I may be one of the quieter ones in a social setting but there’s always the possibility I fly in out of nowhere with a quip. I’m an engineer (absolutely ISTJ), I develop, analyze, and verify software for a living. After hours I’m usually at an outdoor workout, hiking, cooking, going to a game or a comedy club, skunking my kids on the Switch… basically being a Suburban White Dad™ (and yes I have the New Balances. You know the ones. They’re my mowing shoes.)
Honesty, loyalty, and communicating well are critical for me. I’m easygoing, reliable, kind, fun, and I can listen to others without judgement. I’ve been told there’s something steady and disarming about me, and that I have a way of taking emotions out of a situation and giving unbiased advice.
