What you should know about me:

• Non-binary, pansexual, demisexual. What this means: I don't have a gender. I don't care about your gender one way or the other. I care about whether or not we establish a loving connection, and I need that strong emotional connection with a person to be there before I experience sexual interest. So you may have to be patient and I don't want people who are too horny and looking for a booty call; no judging but I just want an emotion-focused relationship that would involve a lot of stuff that looks from the outside like "mere" friendship. This is not FWB though; I want a romantic relationship where two people meet as kindred spirits. It's just that if someone gets too physical too quickly, it makes me doubt their sincerity and it can be overwhelming and freak me out.
• I'm sure I don't want kids. I prefer someone without kids, and definitely will not date any peener who thinks they can "talk me into it". Waste someone else's time.
• I'm autistic, I have social anxiety, and I have PTSD from being bullied, poverty, and abuse in my childhood. Meaning, I'm sensitive and there's certain things people think are funny that I don't. I don't like being hugged or touched unless I initiate. I also will not make eye contact, and may appear to not be listening because I sometimes draw, stare off into the distance, or do something else while listening to people, it helps me focus to do something with my hands is all. And to look at whomever is talking to me actually distracts me towards their sensory output besides whatever they're saying, such that I often have to look away in order to listen, because listening requires focus on just the audio output.
  
• I'm in a poly triad. My wife is trans and the third partner is more attached to her than to me, we're more like friends but they love each other. Third partner is also a trans woman. I find that I end up meeting trans people a lot just because we all have to stay together, to survive in a world that hates us. But I'm not a chaser and I don't fetishize or seek them out specifically.
• Interests: I have many, but I'm a pet sitter so I'm a big animal lover, especially cats. I had an anime blog between 2010 and 2020 but kind of quit posting recently as I'm not as into anime, or blogging, as much as I used to be. I've kind of been into old (as in familiar to me) content more than recent lately. I read a lot, mostly nonfiction and speculative fiction, Wheel of Time being one of my favorite series.
• I do enjoy camping and hiking, but I'm not a "country person" and nothing turns me off faster than someone who thinks they have to kill something small to feel big. I lived in Chicago for a few years but I don't really feel like a "city person" either, lol. I kind of think my personal quest in life is to feel equally un-adjuusted everywhere.
• Politics: I'm a socialist. My wife is a capitalist. I try to be flexible and open-minded, accepting that other people make choices you yourself might not make, for their own reasons. But obviously, I don't want to hear what you think I ought to do with my uterus.
• Not religious, but spiritual/seeking, while my wife is more of a die-hard anti-theist type.
• I'm vegetarian, I don't care if my partner/s eats meat though. I get how it's hard to be vegan or vegetarian, but to me I just can't enjoy eating something and thinking about it being a dead animal at the same time.
• I have a car, but I'm underemployed as a student/gig worker, but my wife also supplements this income with an allowance. I am willing to visit someone who lives in a reasonable road trip distance from Central IL.
• I would probably like to visit you or stay over with you first, then introduce you to my wife second. You don't have to love each other or anything but I'd like it if you were chill with each other since she's very important to me. And I definitely won't be with someone who puts her down. We're a team.
