Why am I here? Oh, I am here simply looking for another soul to connect with, whether that's for the next hour, or the next day, or the next year, or for a lifetime. Settle in. To start, a vague introduction:

ENM for 10 years. Demisexual. Neurodivergent. Hetero-leaning pansexual. Two committed partners. Two kids. Two jobs. I have a ton of shit going on in my life, so I would make someone a truly terrible 'primary' partner. Please don't try to place me on that pedestal, because it will end in heartbreak.

5 things I dislike are: organized religion, my mother, political media, corporations, crowds

I'm an insomniac, due mostly to my constant state of mental gymnastics and an inordinate amount of unavoidable stress. I wake up at 2-4a CST nearly every night and can't get back to sleep until 6a or so (unfortunately I have to be at work at 8a M-F). I would love to meet someone I could talk to during these nighttime/early morning hours!

To continue, what's important to me:

Your honesty is the most important thing to me. Be honest and genuine. Don't try to be who you think I want you to be, because I won't judge you negatively for who you are. I may choose not to talk to you in the end, but I will never cast aspersions about your character without evidence or experience. For this reason, I request that you message me on your main account. Alts are not great for getting to know someone.

I'm not looking for a hookup. Fine if you are, but it's not for me.

Emotional maturity/intelligence are paramount. I have found very few people under the age of 30 who can meaningfully engage with me because of this (but also because younger folks just tend to be in a different stage of life than myself). And on that note, please don't be brand new to poly.

Your mind is also important to me: not necessarily your IQ or any attempts at objective quantification of your intellect, but an active and engaged mind. I won't respond to a hi or a hey. Give me something to sink my teeth into.
