Good morningnight, polyr4r! Because of a combination of stress, medication and mental health, I find myself often awake at 4am and wanting company, so I've decided to come here to try and find some friends to chill with.

Some things about me:

I practice KTP with my current ENM partners. Acronyms are fun.

I'm an undiagnosed/likely neurodivergent individual, contemplating pursuing a diagnosis.

I'm a Texan uprooted to Tennessee, who acts neither Texan nor Tennessean.

I'm incredibly demisexual (it's like the only big label I feel comfortable with ascribing to myself).

I have a hyperfixation on D&D. I am a part time professional DM.

I'm a cat person. I have three cats and find dogs smelly and loud, but sweet.

I have a degree in English Literature that I don't use much beyond accidentally confusing people with obscure vocabulary.

I have PTSD from working in customer service call center escalations for 5 years.

I'm trying really hard to maintain a healthy diet. I lost a lot of weight a couple of years ago and am working to maintain, after slipping back into bad habits.

I listen to an eclectic variety of nerdy white girl music. My taste in music pretty accurately describes me.

I'm a bit of a flirt. Just a lil. With the right type~

I used to love anime, but haven't properly sat down and watched a new series in about a decade.

I have been in an abusive relationship. I am still recovering.

Excessive coffee consumption and THC are my biggest vices.

I'm a bit squishy and soft.

I am looking for a friend I can chat with when I'm sitting in the dark in the wee hours of the morning, listening to the house sleep. I thrive on learning about people, and listening to them talk about their lives and passions. Your gender and what you look like are of no particular concern to me, so long as you are passionate, genuine, and honest. It really helps if you can hold a conversation though.

I'm not posting in search for a new serious romantic partner at this time, as I'm spread pretty thin between two jobs, two young kids, and two partners; and it would be unfair of me to present myself as thoroughly available when I'm not. My daily hours are very busy and I usually don't have time to chat until late evenings, when I'm liable to fall asleep...or times like this, when nobody seems to be awake. However, my most successful romantic relationships have always unexpectedly developed from friendships, which is a big part of why I am poly.
