(Reposting, because while I know and recognize that it is not entirely perfect, it is the best posting I have made so far and the one that has gotten me the best responses overall. Not yet a lasting match that has been my Ms. Elizabeth, but I have had the good luck to find a few new friends here and there from this, so I suppose I might as well try again.)

As I say, I am a nerdy fellow. I am looking for the love of my life, but not wanting to leave out the rest of the population of the world would also be well pleased with making friends as amiable as Mr. Bingley as well.

I am not in possession of a great fortune, at this time, though I am working towards building mine. I am in possession of a great library of books, movies, videogames, boardgames, and tabletop roleplaying games, however, so one hopes that might help offset the difference. I do not consider myself to meet the criteria for being truly accomplished, and so I don't expect to hold others to those standards either. That said, I do strive to improve regularly, and have taken several strides in that direction this year.

I am 6' tall, with dark hair, and will be happy to share further details when asked. I hope you will do likewise.

So as to ease tension and allay any suspicion, I will freely admit upfront that I find myself to be more comfortable identifying myself as polyamorous and heterosexual. If that has upset you at the end of an otherwise enjoyable post, you have my sincere apologies and fond wishes for your own well-being, but I cannot then be called a liar or a dishonest man, and that is important enough to have complete honesty about that I would sooner shrug off those who would find themseleves uncomfortable in my company than be thought of as other than I am.

On a final note, if the archaicness and formality of this missive makes you in any way displeased, let me assure you it need not be maintained indefinitely, as I am quite capable of changing my speech to suit the moment and the company I find myself in, however I do find both this, Shakespearean at times, and other interesting dialectical decisions to be a delightful diversion from the daily drivvle of some discussions.
