I am feeling really frustrated. What is it with people who ghost on websites?
I have been talking to a few different men. I even had a coffee date set up for today. Logged in to send a message that I was going to be heading there in 20 minutes and poof - all our messages are gone.
A different conversation with a different man had been going well until I used the terms kitchen table poly and parallel poly, and then he accused me of using language not everyone knows or is accessible. We exchanged two or three more messages and then poof - he was gone too.
This is really frustrating for me as someone who is just now trying to see if I also can date someone other than my boyfriend. I had forgotten how horrible the dating market can be.
Seriously - if you aren't feeling it - just communicate it like an adult. Don't just GHOST. I know that yes, better now than later. But it's the most demoralizing way to have someone tell you, by just disappearing.
Edit/Update: Thank you to those who commented and gave validation and advice. This vent was very much that, and it, along with the comments, gave me some reminders and perspective.
