I’ve never been in love in my adult life. Lots of infatuation. Never deep, caring, connected love. I think that’s what I’m feeling for my partner. We’ve been dating for 6 months, and I want us to be in each other’s lives for a long time. I want to build our partnership up to be the best, supportive relationship that it can be for both he and I.
I want to tell him that I love him. There are moments where it would feel so natural to say.. when hanging up the phone, when going to bed, when saying goodbye after a date. But I’ve never told anyone this and I’m so scared I won’t hear it back. I also want to make sure this isn’t just NRE.
How did you go about telling someone you loved them for the first time? Any tips?
