I’m talking to a couple who has been together for 5 years, and who have never had poly experiences before (and neither have I). They want me to be an equal in their relationship, which after some research I think is called a triad in this community :) We are very communicative with each other and I trust them a lot. They are the kindest and funniest people I know. With that being said, we want to wait to have sex but it’s definitely in our future. BUT. I have herpes. And I have no idea how to tell them. It makes my stomach turn thinking about it. Usually I can calm my nerves a little by saying, my partner probably already has it, or they’ve already probably been with someone who did. But since they got together in high school, I think they’ll be clean and totally shocked and not sure of what to think or do. Please! Some advice! For reference, I’m 19f and they’re 20f and 22m.
