Hello everyone. I have a question for you guys that I am hoping to get some perspective on. My wife and I of 12 years have recently decided to open up our marriage. This is something that we have been discussing for a while but nothing has really come off it till recently. My wife has made some connections with other people, none of them physical yet. I love to see the “glow” of happiness that radiates from my wife when she talks to her connections. I have told my wife this and she has told me that she would love to see that on me as well.

With all of this it has made me realize that I am not a very social person and it is hard to meet people with similar interests. This is where my question lies. What are some ways that you have used to meet people? Sure there are dating apps but I am not initially looking for dates, I am looking to establish friendships and hopefully something more. Also I live in a small area that makes it difficult to find like minded ENM people on the dating apps.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
