How did you know you're polyamorous?

OK so I've been with my partner for half a year now and for a while I've started to like other people romantically (not sexually at all as I'm on the ace spectrum). I don't know if it's polyamory that I'm after or that im just a horrible person for even having these feelings in the first place. I still love my partner with all my heart and its not as if I'm chasing something more that I can't get from him, it's that I also feel strong connections to other people alot like the one i have with him. So how did you know that you're polyamorous, do you think I might be aswell and how did you tell people?
