Recently, I have been enjoying my normal tabletop rp games with my fiance and friends. My fiance identifies as poly, but is not practicing due to me being mono. My current character has created the ideal romance in a sense and genuinely has me confused if I would identify poly if I met the right person. The main issue is, I am Demi. Demisexual/Demiromantic no questions there. But I'm seriously questioning if this is infatuation with a fiction character, or if I have discovered a secondary type that would potentially peek my interest in a poly sense. My fiance would be over the moon if I did identify this way, but I've never thought about this specific line of potential. I am always extremely hard on myself, and with the golden retriever boyfriend style character that I have the biggest fantasy crush on, I feel like I'm easily influenced.

Would this be considered sexuality questioning or just a random character crush like when I was a teen? I'm 29F btw, so I've been exploring my personal being for several years.
