I thought I am polyamorous but not sure

I feel like I'm poly but it's also because I want to explore my sexuality and stuff but there's someone I love who's monogamous and isn't up for a mono-poly relationship so I thought of monogamy. But I don't know I mean, even with polyamory I wasn't comfortable with my partner having other partners like it brought up a lot of shit for me and it would take a lot of time to work on that part. I don't know it's really confusing and I don't want to be caught up on labels or make decisions based on one person but I just want to figure this out for myself
