I recently was talking to my partners about valentines day, i was really excited that it was coming up because it will be my first valentines as a woman (im trans mtf) and because it will be the first valentines day that ive been lucky enough to have a partner for (didnt date much growing up cause of being in the closet, and a couple things happened a few years back that made me afraid of people). So i was thinking about it coming up and i decided to call my male partner, i asked if he was able to come over on valentines but he said he couldnt or his other partner would be mad about it, i get that, little sad but im still ok cause ive got my nb partner to call still and since our other partner was busy with his meta (forgive me if im using term wrong) my nb partner should be free for valentines, so i talk to them about it but they said they couldnt cause they had to watch their parents dogs and that really caught me off guard, they are busy alot and i get that but i just wanted to have someone there for me this valentines, i thought at least one of them would like to spend time with me on that day but now im just feeling hurt and i dont know if its fair that i am upset. I could really use some advice.
