Is rating people for their looks from 1-10 stupid? (Check description)

Don't get me wrong valid criticism is good for if someone genuinely is wearing something bad or has bad hygiene but I personally think people being rated from 1-10 just seems really stupid, I've never really been rated myself just I see people I knew talking about it and rating random strangers who don't ask for it and it just feels stupid
