Lots of military pilots see "UFOs" because they are up in the air, but aren't disclosed on top secret aerospace projects. So they occasionally run into the hypersonic stealth drone shit that Lockheed is working on, but nobody is allowed to tell them that what they saw is actually US test aircraft.
So these dudes wander around telling people they saw UFOs, and regular people think "See! If it was a secret military craft, the military pilot would have known about it." No. No they wouldn't, lol.
