Hey,
Can anyone help with some pension advice.
I retired early at 50 in May this year. My 2015 scheme pension was frozen until state pension age but with the pension challenge won (to a certain extent) and new law passed I now have 25 years service on the 87 scheme, meaning far less of my pension should now be frozen. I reckon I must be owed at least 50K and loads per month.
Does anyone know how I get the rest of my pension?
Will I get it automatically? Do I need to contact the local authority that pays my pension or Xps who administered it? Or should I be chasing the Fed to sort this out?
Wow what a mess!
Thanks very much.
