I am trying to monitor Woodbury Minnesota police car to car and on my SDS 100 scanner, it shows up as law dispatch north under Washington County simulcast.

How can I break these channels down more so that it would show up as car to car etc. it seems that everything I monitor whether it is fire highway patrol etc. all comes in under a overall heading but I’m trying to get into the subgroups underneath and I don’t understand how to do that.

I’d like to know when someone is talking whom it is better than just a general overview of law north or fire east, etc..

I appreciate the help and if there is a guide to how to do this, if someone could just point me to that I would appreciate it. I just don’t know where to look or maybe I’m not using the correct terminology.

I am new at this. I’ve only had this scanner for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.
