Does this seem like a legal police stop?
Post Body

Some context first, I live in a small town in southern indiana. I am 18 years old and graduated from homeschooling last year

I was at a local school basketball game last night, hanging out with a few friends. We arenā€™t up to anything shady, just watching the game and having fun. After the game, Iā€™m walking towards the doors to say hi to one of my other friends when I get approached by two officers and they ask if they could speak to me, granted they were nice about it. I said sure, and they said letā€™s go over here and walked me to a corner then shoved me in the corner. As soon as no one was around, they start threatening me, one of them tells me and I quote ā€œIā€™m about to make your shit a hell of a lot worseā€. For some more context, Iā€™m a law abiding citizen, Iā€™ve never even gotten a ticket before, and Iā€™m started to get scared because these guys were a lot taker than me, looming over me and threatening me. One of the officers says ā€œa dozen people have told me you have been selling drugs at this gameā€ to which I responded ā€œofficer, I donā€™t even know a dozen people here, Iā€™ve never been to this school before, I was just watching the game with my friendsā€ and I guess they didnā€™t like my response because one officer asked me to empty my pockets which I did, while the other one attempted to pull off my pants (while still in a public area, mind you) to which I politely asked the officer not to touch me, because I know I have rights and there wasnā€™t a reason to strip search me. As Iā€™m emptying my pockets, I pull out my vape and tell them ā€œI am 18 years old, it is turned off and I never once took it out my pocketā€ to which they yanked it from my hand along with my wallet, and one officer snapped a picture of my id and said ā€œI know where you live nowā€ and gave my wallet back but kept my vape. I donā€™t really care about the vape, I can just go buy another one, but the whole interaction didnā€™t seem very lawful. After they finally left me alone, I followed them outside and they immediately left, so I went back and talked to the principal of the school, asking him if they said anything to him and he said no, but they should she since he hired them for security. Usually I have the upmost respect for police officers, as several family members are apart of law enforcement, but this experience really has me shaken up. Iā€™m afraid to go to work, since they figured out where I work now. I donā€™t know what I can do to report this, and Iā€™m honestly scared for my own privacy. Any and all help and opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.
