Had my first proper practice on my new home xpole today. It was great to practice at home but something I hadn’t realised, the floor where my pole is is a sort of vinyl laminate and boy oh boy, it is not good for skin!
I was doing a particular flow over and over again and got a big, very nasty blister on the ball of my left foot, I assume from pivoting/twirling over and over in the same spot.
I can’t move the pole anywhere else so does anyone have any suggestions on what would be best?
Dance socks? Tape on the balls of my feet? Some sort of temporary flooring that I can put down and take up when needed?
This has never happened in the studio so it’s definitely my floor at home.
