Hey beautiful loves! This is the 1st time I am posting here in this group! I restarted my Pole Dance Fitness Journey back on March 31st, 2023! My original 1st & last Pole Class before that was back in July 2019 a couple days after the USA's Independence Day on July 4th! Now that I am a year in I have made a lot of improvements & progress along the way but I still struggle with climbing & flexibility & so on! Please don't judgs me when I say this but I honestly feel very stuck & feel very left behind! I am also a Plus Size Female & have lost a whole lot of weight doing mainly Pole Dance Fitness even though I did go to gym past year & only to train myself to condition for Pole Dancing & so on but stopped because it didn't motivate me at all to keep going! Plus I felt Pole Dancing is my #1 fave workout & booster that keeps me motivated as well my therapy session that keeps me in the bestest mindset!

After my restart of Pole Dancing Fitness it became instantly my true passion, addiction, obsession, love, etc.! I live, breath, speak, see, etc. Pole Dancing all day everyday! I want to make a career our of it by getting certified & adding it to my coaching work & also owning my own studio someday & also traveling the world doing it! This year in the month of October I have a scheduled Video Shoot on October 5th & 4 performances every week at different locations!

I am very excited to perform as I love expressing myself through Pole Dancing along with Floor Play, Chair Dancing, Etc. in the Very Most & in so many Beautiful, Fun, Sensual, Sexual, Seductive, Alluring, Magnetic, Charismatic, Liberating, Etc. Ways! I feel stuck however because I feel that because I haven't mastered fully climbing even though I have attempted on many occasions feel I am unable to move forward because of my strength level & not conditioned to get into more advanced movements! I hired a private instructor for lessons & they were great at teaching but felt I didn't get trained to be fully conditioned for my entire body to do certain moves!

I always felt like a let down when I was taught the "Genie", the "Jasmine", "Gargoyle", & a few other moves that I felt programmed that "I can't" do it & that "I never will"! A friend of mine who recently opened up her own studio told me as much she loved me visiting & taking classes that it is best for me to work on my strengthening & conditioning! When she told me that I felt relieved but also sad because I wished that my private instructor should have trained me to program my body to build up my strength level in all areas instead of jumping into learning new movements & so on!

I really am happy with progress in other areas such as great spinning, great pole sits, great pirouettes, great fireman's, great, around the world turns, etc. but I really want to finally be able to climb confidently without the worries! I thought being plus size was the reason for all of that but was told that wasn't the case that it all has to do with being properly & safely trained to build up my strengthening & conditioning! A month ago I was surprised with a Dance Pole for my birthday but sadly I have not put it up mainly due to the fear of having popcorn ceilings & really considering investing in a Stage Pole instead!

I wanted to know from anyone who can give me the best advice on "At Home Exercises" & "On the Pole" either home (my friend's house) or in a studio to working on at home for my strengthening & conditioning to get my way to be able to finally climb confidently, having perfect leg waves, & getting all my full middle splits & both left & right full splits to be able to move much faster & get into the different movements & so on?! I also would like to add that I still have a fear with my left leg after taking a Flexibility Class & pulled my hamstring & ever since then I have struggled practicing trying to get it to work to practicing to get into Splits! I really want better for my Pole Journey to keep progressing further but I feel my Strengthening & Conditioning & not being able to Climb, not being able to do All Sorts of Splits, & finally get into Lyra, Trapeze, & possible Silks & other Acrobatic & Aerial Things, etc. are all of what are holding me back completely!
