New home pole is slippy

Post Body

Hey yā€™all, I just got my first home pole from xpole and we have it mounted to the arbor over my patio (outdoors) we take it up and down every time we use it. Itā€™s a 45mm stainless steel pole which is what Iā€™ve been using in my gym but for whatever reason I have absolutely no knee pit grip with it. Beyond just feeling ā€œmore slipperyā€ I actually canā€™t do anything that relies solely on that knee pit grip. Every other grip hand or otherwise feel fine. Wondering if I need to buy grip or if thereā€™s a way to exchange the pole for one with a different material. Is it just the outside climate? Any advice would be awesome.
