I agree with you. If I may, I will add to the sentiment.. Performers should expect compensation for their talent and art. It’s called a booking fee. Whoever booked them should pay them for their performance such that many artists, singers, performers typically get paid to preform.
Throwing single dollar bills at a performer? It sounds like they’re cosplaying a stripper-esque role. Make it make sense.
