I am looking for a manor in an area that used to be in Germany but became part of Poland after the war. The story is a bit sinister: in winter1945, while the Red Army is about to capture the area, the last inhabitant, woman, aristocrat, organises a farewell dinner with her friends or may be German refugees that fled the advancing Russians. After that she goes to bed and commits suicide. The manor is finally not destroyed but becomes a school for agriculture during the communist era. However, the family tomb in the park containing several sarcophagi is deliberately blown up by Polish nationalists after the war, but ruins of it are still existing today. The manor might be an hotel now, but am not sure. Once read about this place, but cannot find it anymore. Does anyone know this place?
