Shiny variants are bugged

I'm confused man, why can't I see shiny variants in my game? Playing on mobile Chrome
The normal one looks okay, but some variants looks like the normal sprite(no shiny) and then other (like.my epic Zubat) looks just like regular Zubat.
What can I do to fix this, I check.in Settings and nothings seems to be off. It happens both in select screen and the proper fights
