Our own cheating scandal.
Post Body

This couldn’t be a smaller game.

Home game. Rake max of $4. Dealer, free food and drinks. A nice time. The game would get fun as the night wore on. But usually just 1 table in some guy’s basement

1/1 with a frequent $2 straddle. As the night went on there might be $1000 on the table.

And… it was just two guys colluding. Texting each other their hole cards. Soft play. Communication during hands.

The guy running the game had cameras set up watching the table. Cheating was discovered and he told the rest of us. This (and covid) killed this game. “It’s just not worth it to run” said the owner.

Yeah, cheaters are incredibly sloppy and stupid. And everywhere
