Newbie question.
I’m transitioning from fake chips to online cash games with real $. I recently started playing online with real money. I’ve only played live 5 times. So all of my poker experience, essentially, is with fake chips.
By nature, I play loose and selectively aggressive and it works for me. I’m easily a winning player with fake chips.
Everyone in this club plays tight aggressive and they’re damn good. This is nothing like fake chips. I’m getting my ass kicked.
What’s the best way to play against them. Also tag?
Do I stop and go back to fake chips until I get better at a different style or continue on and play against people better than me, so I can quickly improve? (I became a skilled pool player by practicing and playing against people better than me, so I know that works, but I don’t want to lose my ass while learning either.)
Any advice appreciated.
