- Our room does "allow angling", when heads up.
This is a small room, playing 1-3. I am the dealer: we aren't allowed to play in our own room. the two players involved, I only know from them playing here, and I am indifferent to both of them.
Anyways, two players reach the river. The out of position player checks, then the in position player thinks for a short period, then says "what do you have" in a resigning tone. I decided almost instantly to reply "can you clarify your action please".
Well needless to say, this player was upset that i said that, and thought I shouldn't say anything, and it was clear that he hasn't acted yet. However, it really seemed to me he was trying to get the other guy to flip his cards over and misrepresent that he was checking.
Im ok with angleshooting regarding misrepresenting a hand before showdown, but angling action seems scummy to me. Was I in the wrong here?
