Understood. What about his preflop play do you disagree with? Personally I like flatting AJs here, a case could be made to 4bet, but its a hand that plays well enough postflop to flat.
If I were in his shoes I would probably lean towards a 4b shove here, with maybe 20-30% of the time flatting.
