$5/10 on a Friday night.
I usually play at $2/$5, but the action players at my table left, (some left to play $5/$10, and I need to switch tables to rathole some chips.)
Guy sits down. Young guy, doesn't know how to stack his chips, doesn't know how to hold his cards, and he might not know what beats what. But he's chatty. He's drinking (the waitress cards him) and he asks if there are higher stakes. This is it buddy. Stacks of $25 chips in $100 stacks. Doesn't know how much is in front of him.
The guy to his left makes fun of him when he loses. Down $2k in 20 min. Ships his last $500 on the river on a A K J T A run out with K7cc.
Why on earth do you guys insist on being an asshole to the gamblers? do you want him to play craps or blackjack? Everyone is going to be nice to him there. And he's going to get free rooms and comps there too. Sometimes people just want to have the experience of playing poker for some real money. Why not let them?
