Bad beat story with a twist

Post Body

So I came here to share my bad beat. It felt pretty terrible! I get it all in pre-flop with AA vs JJ. The flop comes A J 8. Sweet. Turn is the 4th J. *Crying face emoji*.

Was about 3 hours into an MTT and I dont make the cut for money. I'm pretty sad, and I've no-one to share it with. I start typing it out for the good folk at reddit just to realise no-one here cares either!

BUT THEN!!! (comic book style)

About 20 minutes later, I'm in a cash game (online). There's a bit of preflop action and the flop comes 5 8 10, and I have pocket 8s. I shove, get called, opponent turns over pocket 10s. I hit my 4th 8 on the river. I can honestly say I've never seen trips vs trips and for quads to hit afterwards, never mind twice in the space of about 10 hands.

So my post has now become... damn, I can't complain about by bad beat anymore (though I kept it to myself originally, I found a voice in my head to share it with). Should we change the story to how online games are rigged instead?
