Friday evening, pretty great action game, villian is a large MAWG blinged out two seats to my right is splashing around a lot sitting on $900. Hero has been at the table about 2 hrs, playing fairly TAG. Heros stack is $325
OTTH
Villian utg 1 raise to $10,
Hero UTG 3 raise to $35 with AhQs everyone folds but Villian who calls.
Flop K93 - all hearts.
Villian check, hero bet $35, Villian x/r to $70, hero calls.
Turn As
Villian bets $100, hero calls
River Td
Villian allin (hero $120 left). Hero calls.
I feel pre is fine based on table dynamics. Maybe i could size it smaller say $30 and get same result.
Flop: should i be checking back flop? I want to be putting pressure on his pocket pairs, but maybe im far enough ahead on the flop and it doesnt really get worse, i could check back and re-evaluate turn? At any rate i decided to cbet, and i dont think 3betting on this flop is better then flatting.
I feel this player type who min raise is pretty strong and hates folding.
On the turn i think i have no choice but to call. He could be turning a made hand into a bluff, and I have outs to the nuts still.
I know on the river I made a mistake with a call. I got too tied up in the price of my call when in reality someone taking this line as this player type always has it.
What im looking to get out of this thread is, is the flop cbet correct? Or super close? Or wrong.
