Why do people choose to wait hours in line to register at WSOP over paying the credit card fee?

So I'm looking at registration options and by far the fastest option seems to be paying with a credit card and then going to the fast track registration area where you just show your credit card to verify it and then you can skip everything else and sit down.

For a $1k entry that fee is $32.50. Almost everyone has some 2% back credit card which would be $20.65 back and net fee of $11.85.

So instead of waiting hours to pay cash with no fee, which is very very likely for this weekend's huge mystery bounty, you could just pay $11.85 to use a credit card and skip it.

What am I missing as far as why so many people still don't choose this option? People just don't realize it exists, or sensitive to the fee, or another reason?
