Struggling with building/saving for a bankroll advice
Hi everyone! I’m a semi-recreational player that has studied NL and PLO. Primarily play NL Holdem. I’ve been playing about 6 years recreationally. Poker is not my full time job but I am looking to try to play more as I enjoy it.
I currently have a 9-5 job that pays me about 200k a year. My monthly income after taxes is about 13k. My only expense being rent and food which leaves me about 10k. I recently bought a house so I am starting from 0 in my bank accounts and poker roll and wondering for advice on building a roll?
Do I restart playing 1/3 after I save 10k? Or do I wait a few months and save 30-50 and play 2:5? I played last weekend but felt uncomfortable without having a roll. Just hoping for advice from other people who have saved/built a roll.
Thanks
