would there be any interest in a high-production value, low-stakes streamed home game?
Post Body

Hey everyone,

I run a home game with mostly film/media/entertainment professionals. We got to talking last game about setting up a stream for it, pulling out all the stops and really pushing the production value to meet/exceed the other popular streams out there (lodge, hustler, etc.)

First - is this legal to do as long as there's no rake / house take? Or do you need to be a licensed casino or cardroom to run a live stream? (I'm in California)

I think it could be a fun and niche stream, where all the players are amateurs, the stakes are low, and the entertainment value is maybe more skewed towards how bad everyone is instead of how optimized everyone is.

Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

True. Thatโ€™s why I play high af. Watching is fun though.
