Hand Review - probably not that tricky river spot?
Post Body

6-max turbo $11 buy-in online tournament, early stages (so no ICM etc) and no history with villian.

Villian (27BB effective) raises to 2BB from HJ.

I have KK in the SB and raise to 5BB. HJ Calls (11.5BB in Pot)

Flop comes 852 rainbow

I raise 3BB, HJ calls (17.5BB)

Turn Ah (2 hearts on board now)

As the Villian called a 3-bet pre, I had their range on a lot of Ax and pocket pairs. I felt the turn hit their range while making my specific hand weaker. As a result, I checked, villian checks behind.

River 2 (no flush)

I bet 4.4BB and Villian shoves for a further 14BB(ish) into a pot of 21BB (so need to bet 14BB to try win 49BB).

I struggled to find any real bluffs since any back-door hearts likely bet turn, and pocket 99s through to QQs would rarely take this line. But the price is pretty good!

Usually I would find a fold here, but had a similar situation live recently, folded and got shown a bluff! Curiosity got the better of me and I made the call. The villian had A5o. Clearly they shouldn't be raising or calling pre flop, but after that, there's likely very little I can do to get them off their hand. However, is the river a fold or call, and could I have played the flop/turn better?

Also - I play a decent chunk of these 6-max games on partypoker. Is anyone interested in a study group to do hand reviews etc? I'm looking to improve my game and don't really have anyone to discuss this stuff with at present!

Hope the formatting is ok, my first post of this nature.
