A friend challenged me to this one. I don’t think I’ll be doing it again. The early game exists. The mid and late game is straightforward.

Against the E4, I had to wipe twice as I couldn’t get past Lance. I didn’t have this issue on my previous two wins. I was trying to brute force it too much. I didn’t realize how much I relied on T-wave.

I was using Mega Sceptile until Lance. (I keep reading comments saying it sweeps most of the league) I needed more speed, so I switched to Mega Blaziken with Protect. I tried to make that work but was lacking damage. Blaziken learns bulk up by level up. It came down to Sceptile taking out the lead. Melmetal comes out. Sceptile faints to Melmetal. Incinaroar comes in for the intimidate drop and a will-o-wisp. It goes down, and then Blaziken is free to set it up. I was alternating between Protect and Bulk Up. Repeat for the champion fight.

Gen 5 and Mono-Ghosts have both been started. I have an idea for a Mono-Normal run. I might take a break and play Unbound.
