2pm has past here and thus the end of today’s CD. I’ll share my thoughts while resting and having lunch right now.

Total Alolan Geodude caught: 218

Total shiny: 9

The only reason I went hard during this CD is because of the triple/quadruple stardust. Alolan Geodude fortunately for me is something I had plenty of shiny and also have top 10 ranked A.Grav and A.Golem.

Speaking of that, why can’t this CD features both Kanto and Alolan forms? Alolan Graveler and Golem already made their marks in PvP so probably time to show some love for the Kanto versions. I guess it’s nice that this move is usable for PvE, but way better Rock mons are available.

Now we’ve gone through two 3-hours CD, I hope Niantic will see the negative responses and change to better hours but knowing them…

The usual CD perks like CD pokestop research, 5 photobombs are still there as usual. Oh and please can Niantic just stop with the confetti? Or allow an option to toggle it off?

My advice to you, grind for the dust not for the mons. Have an enjoyable CD.
