My cousin is having gps problems with his galaxy note 9

He just downloaded the game yesterday. I have no problems other than the usual lag/bugs, but him and I will be at the same location, but his shows him being a 100 or more yards away, leading to him not being able to spin stops and gyms that we are physically at.
