Catching Pokemon - Game freezes after you successfully throw the pokeball. Good luck with the restart lottery. Not to mention the other weird camera bugs.
Tracking Pokemon - You can't. Three step bug.
Powering Up/Training Pokemon - Don't bother, just keep leveling up and hoarding stardust.
Evolving Pokemon - There's no advantage to self-evolved pokemon and you can find seemingly every evolution in the wild. What's the point?
Gym Battles - 6 on 1? You literally can't lose. Super fun.
Prestige - Why bother? You get next to no EXP and no matter how strong your gym is anyone can come along and destroy it in a few minutes.
Pokemon availability - Central Park is unfair. Luckily I can get there, but the differential of Pokemon availability between where I and live areas like Central Park make the game seem half-baked. It's almost as if they are trying to punish everyone who doesn't live in a city center. And here I was excited to go to the beach or mountains to look for rare pokemon.
Transferring Pokemon - You can't mass transfer. You have to click through multiple menus every time. On top of that the useless map appears at the wrong moment every time and you misclick.
Stability - or lack thereof.
AR Battles - It was cool the first time I saw it. Then it was annoying to have to face the same direction and I needed the battery. The game might even be more stable without it.
I'm only playing because of pent-up demand for Pokemon. I would rather they released X, Y, or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for mobile devices. At least I would be having fun.
