How are the people who want a game to be functional two weeks after its release in some areas the ones in the wrong, not the developer that is making a terrible game with one of the most loved IPs in the world and backed by one of the biggest gaming companies? How are the players the ones "in the wrong" for expecting basic transparency from a company about their product?
Niantic is pushing this app because they want to make money from it, people are not in the wrong for wanting it to work. People are not in the wrong for wanting to be updated by the company that they care and are trying to fix it. Niantic's twitter is entirely composed of announcements about the game in it's broken state being rolled out to more countries, and their most recent patch fixes a couple lines of medal text.
Yet all the comments I see here are "Just quit then bitch nobody gives a shit what you think", etc. etc. when people express their frustration. Have we really reached the point where Niantic is not allowed to be held accountable for their terrible decisions?
People criticizing the game want it to work and be successful, because they want to support it, so why are they instantly villified for the stupidest reasons like "App is free m8 so u hav no right to beeeeeetch"?
