Honestly, I thought it was a lovely little event to partake in. I couldn’t play much this morning because of work but as soon as I got off I went straight to walking my dogs. I caught over 150 Pokémon in two hours (it’s hard to catch little ‘mons when you’re running your very energetic puppies).
The amount of incense given as rewards from the collection challenges really gave me incentive to keep walking. I loved catching all the Unowns and hunting for Latias, even though I never managed to catch one in the wild. The rotations of habitats was so fun for me as I walked for quite some time and got to see new Pokémon every little while!
I did two Primal raids and got lucky I guess - there were 11 people in each raid and I caught both Groudon and Kyogre in just a few balls.
Overall, I really just focused on how lovely it was to be in the fresh outdoor air, seeing cute little Pokémon, hitting up all the Pokestops and cheering every time I caught a Kecleon (twice!).
All in all, it was an enjoyable day for me. Sometimes we need to stop playing so hard and competitively and remember that this game was invented to motivate us to go out and walk around. It’s nice to just enjoy the little things. :)
