Hello.

In an attempt to revisit some part of my childhood, I'm spending my recent free time with a new tablet reading fanfiction from different universes that I used to/still have an interest in. With Pokemon being the thing that I used to watch as a kid (I'm in that minority group that discovered the games and their significance pretty late in my life), I come here, asking for your help.

With over 100k stories on the fanfiction net, things can be a little overwhelming so figured I'll ask y'all for some suggestions.

What I'm looking for (at least for now) are fics that would fit in the anime side of the universe. The stories themselves do not necessarily need to be about Ash, they can be about the rest of the gang as well. With me sneakily watching anime on the side after almost 15 years, I'm kind of craving stories about heroes that I've known before I'll move to the OC's and game characters.

As for genres - hit me with everything. Romance, drama, horror, angst, hurt/comfort - if you think something is good and needs to be read, I'll read it. Same with length - I love long stories that allow me to dive into and fall in love with characters but I've read some phenomenal one-shots that truly moved me.

Oh, and decent(ish) grammar is a must.
