Hi all sorry to bother and apologises if not in the right place. My wife told me she used to have a laprys shiny card when she was younger until someone stole it from her. It was her favourite card back then and was debated when she lost it, basically stopped her collecting cards. It’s coming up to our anniversary and thought it would be a good present to buy one if possible. Now I don’t know much of this scene, however when I’ve checked eBay for listings, I’m getting slightly confused. I saw some graded between 5 to 9 and varied in prices from roughly 50 to 200 pounds. I’m just wondering, just as an example, how much would a grade 8 card be worth ( on average). As I’m not really used to all this I just want to make sure I don’t pay extortionate amounts, or even the opposite where a price is too good to be true and the card is not as advertised or something.
