battle dis-connectors make me mad

I'd say that 8 out of every 10 battles that I am winning, my opponent will turn off their games. This is extremely frustrating because 1) it is a waste of my time, and 2) I don't get a win on my record. Are people really that bad of losers? My opponents are either poor losers or they think that I cheated for my pokemon because they are all shiny. I didn't cheat for them, I RNGed to get them. Does this happen to anyone else?
