I've been playing violet since release day, and I've been a pokemon guy since gen 1 and always really enjoy playing every game. I like shiny hunting and I love a lot of the new designs. Aside from the performance issues everyone talks about I've been having fun...
But Tera Raids have to be the literal worst thing I've ever had to do in a pokemon game. They're so absurdly buggy, and the random difficulty jumps aside, they're so poorly designed that it feels unfair, and wins are often just out of pure luck. I've spent three hours today grinding for herba mystica and after a series of losses I finally beat one, just for it to bug out and freeze until the timer ran out and counted it as a loss.
This seriously needs to be fixed, because whatever they were going for, the result has so far been a broken mess that tends to be both boring and stressful. I haven't been one to shower negativity on these games but man, tera raids are the actual bane of my existence right now. I think a lot of people can relate.
