Can we talk about the TINY Pokémon in the overworld? I played on my handheld a bit, and then mostly on a massive tv. After hours of play and struggling to see the tiny Pokémon that are everywhere, accidentally running into wild Pokémon because I didn’t see them, trying to constantly shiny check- my eyes HURT. I have no vision issues. But my partner has glasses and after a while he was in discomfort as well. Now I may be biased because I’ve been playing a TON of PLA while I was waiting for SV. But why is it that they can make properly sized Pokémon and then… just not? Obviously there are a TON of other issues with the games. Lag ruining otherwise beautiful towns. The laziness of the shop menus and no building entry makes the time spent on creating said towns utterly worthless. The NPCs either have no dialogue or are a waste of time to talk to. The map is a MESS and an abomination. I legit don’t go into shops because I haven’t had a single need for items outside what I find on the ground or our handholding “rival” throws at us. And don’t even get me started on the abysmal story/dialogue. The “influencer” gym leader that kept calling me “friendo” made me want to put the game down permanently. I’ve never left a town so fast after beating the gym. Obviously this is all opinion (I needed to get some of this out because after all my hype I ended up way more disappointed than I could have expected). But I don’t see how anyone can argue with the fact that with prolonged playtime- the Pokémon are too small and difficult to see. Sorry for the text wall!
