Is Pokemon black/white worth it?

I've never ated Pokemon version black/ white ever and what to know if it's worth buying. All I've hear is that it is stupid and full of derpy Pokemon. So I wanted to get the opinion of redditors that have played it before. Please let me know of your opinion on it.
