Maybe it's just me, as people on this subredit seem to be genuinely excited for Gen 9 - but with BDSP and PLA, I don't think we need more rushed out Pokémon games that soon. It looks decent graphics wise so far but I would much much much prefer they took an extra year, or two even, and made the game really good.

Explored some new ideas and take the time to flesh them out, y'know? Seems a bit soon to force out another main-series game. People can and will wait and they most certainly have the money to take the time - this feels like a greedy rush, to me, and that would be a shame.

I'm purely speculating here, but I think they are hearing the fans in the wrong way. Rather than listening carefully to the complaints and trying to do better, it feels like they are hearing that there are complaints and just throwing out more games quicker to keep our attention or panicking in case the whole series collapses.

I don't know - I have had a lot fewer issues than most of the community when it comes to Pokémon games, I don't think the last few gens were that bad really, but I would just like them to focus on quality a touch more and would rather them take their time to reinvent the games more than just pump put a new gen with the same old 8 gym system and one new gimmick that they'll never return to.

Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant. Just wanted it off my chest - anyone is welcome to challenge or disagree with me, I would be interested in what you think.
