So I'm not sure if anyone has noticed but almost all of the mainstream remakes have been released on the generation when you double the 2. Let me explain. The only one that doesn't work is fire red and leaf green but that was more of a business decision. Heartgold and soulsilver are gen 2 remakes and were released in gen 4. Omega ruby and alpha sapphire are gen 3 remakes and were released in gen. Brilliant diamond and shinning pearl are gen 4 remakes and are being released in gen 8. If this correct then the gen 5 remakes should release in gen 10
